Microsoft changed what the F1 key does: it pulls open the Bing browser (eww) and opens a useless help file. (why????) In the Stronghold Crusader AIV editor, F1 did a critical function: SAVING the file in progress. I believe Firefly was a bit lazy when they designed the AIV editor because they did. Descriptions for the AIV set go into a.txt file where specifies the language (i.e. Each time AIVs are installed, the existing set will be backed up to a timestamped folder. These folders will remain in the aiv folder of your Stronghold Crusader installation. However, please note that due to current. The UCP needs to know where your Stronghold Crusader (Extreme) installation directory is located. It normally determines this based on the Path entry in the ucp.cfg file. When installing using the GUI you may need to browse for and select the path to your Crusader installation.
I am a huge fan of the Stronghold-franchise. In my opinion Stronghold Crusader is still the best installment but with the years it became less challenging so I decided to redesign the AI-profiles for the skirmish-mode.
The goal was simple: Increase the difficulty by letting the enemies build better castles. The not so simple part was to maintain the individual building style of the AI-character. So I basically improved the defenses and the economy by giving the castles a more effective layout. I also slowed some AIs a bit down so that they don’t rush that hard anymore. This MOD is nearly finished it just needs a bit more polishing. Khabo khayalo koi mil gaya.

Please note!
Some AIs still have problems with small maps. Also if you let them start with only 2.000 gold some might need much more time than intended to build their castle. I’m about to fix that as soon as possible.

Installation and download
1: Download the file “SHC-AI Pack.zip” from this page.
2: Remove the old AI-files. You will find them in the following directory: “[Installation directory]Stronghold Crusader Extreme HDaiv”. (In case you want to play again with the old files you should save them in a new directory.)
Crysis 3 demo pc. 3: Unpack “SHC-AI Pack.zip” and insert the AI-files in the “aiv”-directory of your game.
4: Start the game and have fun!
If you want to play with these files in the multiplayer please ensure that EVERY participating player has installed this mod correctly!
